Hello - our son is 5 1/2 years old and was diagnosed with Perthes when he was 4 years. We took the "wait and see" approach and the disease has progressed to 100% femoral head involvement, flattening and metaphyseal cyst. Our doctors are recommending a surgical procedure called "triple osteotemy" - my question is - has anyone out there undergone the triple osteotemy? If so, what was the outcome?
