I was 7 i think as well when i was first told i had torn legaments in my left leg, but a second opinion proved that it was LP. I was in a body cast for a year, traction for 2 weeks and wore a brace for 2 years. i was very active back then i guess i walked on that leg a little to much when i was in the cast and the joint is now sort of oval shaped (i guess i flatened it when it was still soft).Now im 29 and for the most part in crazy pain from arthritis.keeps me up at night and somtimes i have great difficulty walking. i have seen some specialists who have told me im too young for a replacement and to deal with the pain. i to dont like to take drugs but the pain is somtimes extreme. i have never posted a message before and ive never met anyone else who had LP, so i was just wondering if anyone would like to correspond with me and maybe we could share some experiences and posibly help each other deal with it just a bit, thanks.
